Seriously. I used to have a truck, so I used to always get that call to help people move. I’ve helped an inordinately large amount of people move, especially considering that I’ve never been in the moving business. But, recently, when I needed help moving, I didn’t get very much. I’m not mad about, just bewildered, I guess.
Side Note: I once took this philosophy course in which one of our brilliant visiting professors told us about his most recent trip to Greece. On this trip, while walking down the street, he almost got hit by a moving van. He was extremely excited about it because, on the side it said “Metaphor”. “Metaphor”, apparently, loosely means “movers”. He exclaimed, “I have almost been run over by a metaphor!”
